Hi there
I hope someone can help me with this.
I have set up a quite complex scene for an animation shot, consisting of a character in a landscape and a sky.
For better post process coontrol, I want to render these independently.
The problem is that when I render my character or my landscape with a transparent background , i get white edges on the render (see attached). The problem is not observed when I render with the sky.
I guess it has too do with the antialiasing but nothing I have tried gave me good results.
I also checked the forum and found these solutions but the results were not convincing because we lose the antialiasing and get hard pixel edges.
Has someone any idea how to overcome this issue which is a major trouble for post-process.
Cheers
Fred
Please supply a blend file with a simplified scene that still shows the issue
Hi Richard
Thanks for the reply. After experimenting, the problem seems to come from the DOF and motion blur in the render settings, but finally integrates quite smoothly with a premultiplied overlay…Problem solved.
Cheers
Fred
