Why 3D Cursor in Blender 2.80 does not align to Surface?

Does anybody know why the 3D Cursor does not align to surface?

Tested with the Build from yesterday the 25th january 2019.

need t be in cursor mode
and at top check the modes too !

it was working last time I used that

The Orientation-Mode has to be “Geometry”.
