Why am I getting a render of how the scene USED to be set up?

I rearranged my objects and camera, but when I hit F12, it renders things how they used to be set up. What in the world is going on? I don’t have time to upload a file right now, but will later if it’s necessary. Thanks for any help.

Is this an animation?

I don’t have time to upload a file right now, but will later if it’s necessary.
But you think we have as much time in the world to help you by trying to guess what your scene is like but you don’t have 30 seconds to upload an example blend file. Maybe you should have asked the question when you do have time ?

Any keyframes ?

It takes more than 30 seconds to get rid of any objects I don’t want stolen and to figure out what to do when I have a background image that’s 60 mb and a texture image as well, which everyone seems to complain about not being there, even though they’re irrelevant 95% of the time. I know everyone doesn’t seem to understand intellectual property around here, but it exists and some people value it. Also, I have really slow and intermittent internet, so uploading can take god knows how long.

I just figure the causes of certain problems are pretty standard, so I don’t know why people ask for the blend file every single time.

I’m not trying to be a dick - just defend myself against the insinuation that I’m lazy and don’t care about other people’s time.

Maybe you should have asked the question when you do have time ?

Any keyframes ?

Yes, keyframes, but I was just trying to render a still, and at no point with the keyframes are half the objects missing and the camera in a totally different angle. I just realized it’s actually not even rendering - it’s just pulling up an old render. I can set the quality and render samples to a billion, and it still produces the same image in one second.

Ship Window 5 forum.blend (1.57 MB)

Sounds like the problem is in the compositor then. Post up a screen of the noodles so we can take a gander at it…

Ok, it’s taken me a few days to actually upload this thing with my horribly unreliable internet connection. I’ve compared these nodes to a previously working version, and I just can’t see the difference, so I’m not sure what’s going on.

Are you rendering that leftover in movie editor strip or that is a part of a bigger plan? G:/Blender/Sequences/0001.jpg?
Render panel, Post Processing, Sequencer checkbox.

Yeah, you have a movie strip in the VSE. Delete that and enjoy your new render…

Yeeeees! Thank you, guys. I figured it’d be a simple click of the button. That’s the first time I had used the animation. Thanks again!
