Why do my leaves don't show up on the vertices? ( How do I fix the origin)

The day was good until i took up on the task to make a procedural potted plant generator, from some recent well known book on geometry nodes and the the leaves are going through the plant stem and branches intersecting in the middle.

I made a dope leaf and the book says something about the origin ,my leaf’s origin is at the center of my leaf should i move it to it’s edge? (Please don’t chat gpt, what’s the point of being human?)

if i were doing something like that, i’d probably have the leaf origin at the tip of it’s (leaf) stem, so it would join up easiest with the plant stem. you’ll still have to deal with angles that the leaf comes out at, ofc.
