Why does bevel tool leave "ridge" artifacts at corners of polygon?

I am trying to bevel an Icosahedron, and for some reason when I do, I end up with these pentagon shaped “ridges” at the corners of the original polygon. Any ideas why this is happening, or maybe any ideas on how to get rid of its and make that area smoother?

Try using a simple sudb first (to work on quads):
