Hello, I’m attemting to render something out quickly from Blender and noticed something strange. Maybe I’ve done something wrong?
I have a sprite (2D image plane) duplicated using the array modifier. It’s in a pattern and goes off into Z depth away from the camera. I was rendering with mist because I liked the effect. Then I decided to render without the sky so the bg would be transparent. I noticed that mist was making the sprites go transparent? I would have just thought that it was affecting the colour. Is the right?
I can think of other ways to do this in the compositor… but I don’t have a lot of time and need to keep the complexity and finickyness down to a minimum.
If this is just the way mist works then I’ll just have to do this another way.
Thank you
M
