Why is my Disk Cache check box grayed out?

Hey all, im watching a tutorial on how to dissolve stuff, all was good until i reached a point where i was supposed to click ON Disk Cache under the Cache tab of particles.

But its grayed out and i cannot figure out why :frowning:

Any help would be awesome! Thank You ahead of time!

Do you have enough hard disk space?

SOLVED: im an idiot and did not realize i hadn’t saved : /

you NEED to save before Disk Caching walks away discreetly
