Why is my saved rendered file weird colors?

G’day

I’ve just got back to using the new 2.5 after 3 months, but a file I’m rendering, that looks fine on the screen, is saved as weird colors. I’m saving as H264, and haven’t altered any settings from running the 2.5 beta long ago.

Anyone know what I’ve got to set correctly please?

I also should have said I’m using a i7 iMac.

I’ve tried saving as avi jpeg, and the coloring is fine. I’ve also played with the H.264 settings, and now it only saves a black rendered image.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Do we have to guess what these ‘weird colors’ or are you going to attach a screenshot showing exactly what you expect and what you are getting. Also Blends, settings and suchlike.
What beta are you using, have to tried the latest builds from www.graphicall.org

Here’s a screen shot of a frame of the avi h.264 movie in color.

Now they’re just saving as black.

I set the settings to h.264, and accepted the default it set up as avi .h264

The purple is a green tree

The red is green grass

The green is sky
