I’ve been trying to assign a checker map using Textool’s feature, however it doesn’t seem to be available for some reason.
Before this thing happened, I had some issues with different materials applied and I deleted them from the file panel. I’m not sure what happened but could this action have to do anything with that?
It seems to be you need a material, a UV map and any image node (even if not any image applied). Does make sense i think… just add a material and an image setup with the node wrangler (CTRL-T)…
Make sure the mesh object is selected in the Outliner.
When you’re in “Edit” mode or “UV” mode, it’s possible to have all the polygons selected in the viewport, but something different like a Light, selected in the Outliner.
After you select the mesh object in the Outliner, you may need to refresh your selection in the viewport for the button to update and become enabled again.
Hmm…not encountered a similar issue using TT so maybe other than a fresh reinstall, perhaps try selecting in object mode without Stretch overlay checked, your entire model and see if that enables the button?!
