I import a video into the compositor, but when rendering the composite i get no audio with the setting of FFMPEG and AAC. Compositor is checked.
Composing is a space for synthesis using images and videos. It does not use audio.
Please bring the audio from somewhere else.
Is it possible to get the Sequencer output to be in the compositor? Also why is the sound not used in the compositor. It is literally in the video.
I haven’t checked it in the same way, so it’s not accurate, but I understand that all renders of blender are one. 
If this does not work, Video Sequencer will have to combine audio or use other software.
Some free software can be combined with audio without rendering.

How do people do it with cutting? Let’s say i have a video and i want to show just a few bits. The way it seems to work in blender is that you have to cut the video in the sequencer first, then render it and then use the compositor with the sequencer again for the audio.
So there is no way to have sequencer data as input for the compositor?
Composing is not such a use.
It does not include editing features such as After Effects.

I think there is some missunderstanding:
If you use the visual from a video and composite it then you have to add the audio in the sequencer like so:
And if you you want to cut something in the video (and audio) before you composite it with your scene it would be best to do so before compositing because loading everything you do not need into any app… is just un-effective.
You can do this for example with the sequencer.

The function he wants to use the edited clip from Video Sequencer without any other processing in Composing.
It’s the same way as software with editing functions like After Effects. 
But that’s the “problem”. I think one usually do not work that way. Imagine loading a whole movie to simply use some single scene of it. One would simply cut this from the orignal footage and work with the smaller data.

Anyone familiar with video editing thinks the other way around.
Bring up the entire video and cut only the necessary parts

As said, the Sequencer is for video editing. The Compositor is for render processing
