I asked myself why this awesome script is not implemented as default in Blender. Without this script the 3D-Cursor i don’t want to work with Blender.
Just plug it. 
Developers have a lot of work, he cannot track all new community addons. Users can manage it by itself.
Once you have enabled it on your system you can “lock” it in as your default. Bring up User Preferences and click the Save button on the bottom.
