I’m a conplete noob in Blender and I’m using Blender 3.1.2 on Mac. I set a collision on a sphere and set cloth (using build-in silk preset) on my plane, hoping the plane falls down and wraps the ball like a cloth in real world. But when I play simulation, it just fell and bumped into the ball and stopped. My plane didn’t bend at all and still there like a metal board. How can I solve this?
Does the plane have any subdivisions? Cloth requires geometry to deform. If you just have the default plane with 4 vertices, you won’t have enough geometry. In edit mode, press W and choose subdivide- do 20 or so, then it should work
