Wii - Simple Nunchuck LED Modding Tutorial

I was searching the web for simple mod tutorials so I can get a bit of hands on experience with hardware modding, and I came across a really easy tutorial to create a neat add on to your nunchuck.

I love this mod because its very simple, dosen’t require a lot of hardware or tools, and luckily if you mess up, its very cheap to get a replacement. :wink:

If you do this successfully and happen to have a webcam, post some pics here! I’d love to see your own versions of this mod (green or red LED’s perhaps?)

cool… also here uis a tutorial for modding a ps3 controoler to put a LED in it i wish i had the courage to do this, but i dont want to mess my SIXAXIS

Yay!

I got mine modded without any problems. I’ll take some pictures as soon as I get access to a camera and post them here.

Note:
For those of you attempting this mod, its VERY IMPORTANT that you insulate both the positive and negative prongs of your LED’s BEFORE turning the nunchuck on. This can be easily done with electrical tape. Just wrap the tape around each prong individually so that the LED prongs don’t make contact with the Nunchuck chip. Failure to do so may result in a short!
