Wiimote usage 2010

Hi,
I’am intrested in using the Wiimote in Blender. Most of the results of my research are referring to a solution using Glove Pie (an external Program sending the Wii Data via TCP/IP) the usage is described here: http://www.selectparks.net/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=628
Most of the articles and tutorials are about three up to four years old (as old as the nintendo wii itself) and I’am wondering if there is no more elegant solution today like an internal interface in blender. Please share your experiences.
