the clouds look awesome! The whole thing is nice but it looks very ‘blender rendered’ Maybe some spec maps could help that but it wouldnt be a sin to leave it as is
Hi, Void. I used mostly the blinn shaders in Blender 2.28 and a variety of low distance/up close lights and over head lamps/shadowlamps on each layer to bring out those qualities in this scene.
Lol, Great scene, I love it. Try to add more details to the cactus and grass, like a little texture, just some little needed things. Then it will be great I think.
Thanks, JD-multi! For the Weekend Challenge I wanted to stay away from nonprocedural textures for the sake of “purity” but if I have time to revisit this scene in the future textures will be something I’ll work on some more as well as some other things.
