win2k or XP

I almost hate to ask, but…

I’m building a new system @ home for graphics work. Is XP(home) stable enough now, or should I stay with win2000?

It’s just as stable as win2k, and I believe it’s faster too.

I am currently using XP Pro. No probelms here. I use Photoshop 6, Blender and also have AutoCAD running on it. No problems at all. I also have Lightwave 7 on my home machine and it runs fine. (Very slow, but fine :wink: )

I use win2k when I have to use windows, but I believe XP would be fine as long as you take the proper precautions such as firewall and make sure you get all the latest patches.
