Wind doesn't effect hair

I’m working on my first Blender model. For some reason I can’t get wind to effect the hair on it. I can make a sphere with hair and the wind does effect that. I’ve compared the two but can’t find any difference in the settings. I couldn’t upload the file but I’ve linked to it here. www.sandstoneproductions.net/blender.html

Any help would be appreciated!

I don´t know for 2.5 but in 2.4 particle systems and its effectors/deflectors whatsover had to be on the same layer.

Your wind is on layer 3
Your spider Torso is on layer 1

I could test it, but to be perfectly honest i am too tired today and can´t be arsed :smiley:
