So I upgraded to Windows 11, went to open blender this morning, and I noticed that it opens a command prompt (perhaps PowerShell I don’t really know the difference), so far so normal… However now, it stays open in the task bar, and if I close it, it closes Blender. As far as I can tell Blender work…

Is the Console window option active? Try toggling that window->toggle system console.
