I got this message when I tried to start blender on a windows 64 bit vista machine.
“this application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect.Please see the application event log for more detail.”
I extracted the files from the zip file I got from blender.org
Im not a technical person so I have no Idea even were to begin so please help.
