This is my attempt at the Captain Blender character found in the excellent book “Introducing Character Animation With Blender” by Tony Mullen. I didn’t follow his example to this point because I wanted to try a different method that came to me in a dream. This is a Work In Progress and there are still some adjustments I want to make to the body before creating the arms. Also I need to learn more and improve the lighting for the render. Right now I’m just using the default light and camera. Any suggestions on lighting would greatly appreciated. So far I am happy with my progress. More to come in the days ahead.
You need more than a square! Throw in some edge loops along the chest to shape out some pecs!
