Hi this is my third WIP of this face. I think it is getting better. Haven’t got to many comments on my other ones:no: so I would appreciate C&C. All materials are procedural. I made I a UV map but then I changed the face so have to make a new one. I would appreciate suggestion on how to model the ears. Thanks in advance http://www.flickr.com
first of all i would say turn down the spec because its far to shiny.
as for the head its self it look pritty good so far most of the proportions are right.
however the eyes need work and the general lip area.
take a look at this video its not done in blender but the idea can be transfered ok. the main point of this vid is the way he keeps the edge loops so clean.
post a pic of the mesh if you can as that will help us give you good advice
here is the video its on you tube by the way
take a look at this for modeling ears
Here are wire frames. Went A little crazy and accidentally saved after applying subsurf. Been doing most of work from sculpt. Also new render with less spec http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/
That’s a very high poly head. Are you using subsurf?
when useing the sculpt mode try and use the multires feature as that will alow u to sculpt at high poly while still keeping your lowres model intact.
as for the edge loops they look quite good but its not that easy to tell.
with the new render i still think its a bit to shiny but its getting better so keep it up
