I saw a few peoples work from following an old 3dsmax tutorial and thought it would be a good place for me to start seeing as i am fairly new to all of this
Not all the materials are finished yet, in fact there is still alot more to do.
Not entirely happy with the model as a whole but its a learning experience and hopefully will make it easeier for me to accomplish similar things in the future

Update: face is just about finished now I think. I have had a strange issue crop up with the eyelashes casting an odd shadow on the face, not sure if i have accidentally added to the alpha map or whether its an internal issue. Did try rendering with receive transparent checked but it caused more issues than it solved lol.
final render will have ray-tracing/ approximate+ambient occlusion on.
finished the basic parts of the armature but i have run into some issues with the deformation, if anyone has any ideas for how i can sort it out it will be greatly appreciated. in the mean time updated pictures
Hey, you’ve done a nice job with this one. I see you have customized it a bit. The armour material is very nice. I can’t help with the rigging/deform issues as I never finished rigging mine. Here is a picture of mine for reference.
thankyou i have put more time than i anticipated into it though. I am determined to finish it though i am going to come back to the armature after i have modelled some of the scenery
