You can’t. The only alternative is to convert the mesh to actual wires using this script.

Using this approach, you would adjust the Alpha value of the wire texture.
Thank you both for the replies. I found that that same video tut last night it did help. Mpan3 I tried the script, but I could not get it to work. I’m probably doing something wrong, tried to use in the text editor but it wouldn’t work. Any ideas? Thanks again
