Wireframe Rendering

I know that one can render just the wireframe cage of a mesh by selecting the “Wire” option under materials. Right now when I do a render the lines (or wires if you prefer) are just 1 pixel which don’t look that great. Is there some way to make the lines/wires thicker?

Thanks!

You could try re-touching the image in photoshop or something, but I do not believe that there is any good way to do this in Blender.

Hi Pato,

I use this function in Blender quite a lot,

http://www.3dcommune.com/3d/galview.mv?Other_Apps+9MHUOxdas+1047224606 at the bottom left of this pic is a Blender material wireframe. The wire size seems ok to me, but I’ve never tried to change it. If you increase the ADD (Glow) factor and the Emit values you can force it to appear slightly thicker than they are.

Try Subsurf on your mesh too, this is how I tend to do my wire frames, it seems to look better.
