Well, I’ve been working on this for a while. It’s my attempt at modeling Megan Fox’s head. Its been a challenge because she has so many distinct features in her face.
Its pretty much the second head model I’ve done following topology references on the internet. I still have a long way to go with it, and the flow of the mesh has many issues but I figured I’d post it and see if I could get some c&c on the likeness to the subject. If it’s too early to give c&c, though, no problem. I plan on updating this within the next few weeks (I’d update much sooner but it’s finals week:()
Thanks everyone!
mini update… obviously needs a lot of work, especially in eyes and mouth. ill be updating a whole lot after tuesday though, when exams are done. (yay:D)

Switch mirror, subdiv surface modifier order to get that seam down… and some jaw you have for him… i mean her…
@ bl33d: thanks a bunch, that tip about sub-d and mirror order really helped. ill fix the chin (she looks a lot more manly now that i look at her, lol) and have an update probably tonight.
thanks
hopefully she looks a bit more like a woman.

sorry for the mini-updates. i plan to pump out more refined progress soon. thanks for the views.
The forehead needs some work, because it’s too near the face which it looks flat.
hi everyone. got some more progress done (i hope, at least). just some minor changes and a little work on the topology. i think i’ll be spending a lot of time tomorrow.
cya

the eyes are too far off so I’m hiding them for now. here’s the update.

Looks like you’re in perspective mode when you take the screenshots. It’s a lot easier to evaluate proportions in orthographic. Forehead looks a little high, but that might just be perspective distortion.
Don’t sweat the jaw too much – despite all the beautiful women in the world with strong jaws, around here people will complain the model looks too masculine when they see a head mesh with a strong jawline. Once you get some long hair swirling around that face, she’ll look fine.
Orinoco: thanks for the tip on orthographic, mate:)
small update:

plan to work on the neck. i realize its far too thick right now. also plan to find a tutorial on modeling an ear (shouldn’t be hard to find one with all the excellent tut’s on the internet). thanks everyone:)
a tutorial from the best tutorial maker?
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2468035581129864112
and also can we see a wire of it without the cage modifier in the subsurf panel?
Here’s the side view of a skull you can use as a background image to make sure your proportions are good. Here is another one. You don’t have to match it perfectly, everyone’s skull is a bit different, but the overall proportions and shapes should be close.
You may need to flip and rotate the image a bit to match your model before you use it in the background.
