I did this small project in 3 days .For me this is a new milestone , and I would really like your remarks on this and tips on how to improve further . Thanks in advance
Hi! the wood is really smooth, so there should be more wood powder everywere!, also I think you work near the edge of the work table, not so far from were you are when working.
Thanks ^^
Awesome job there. How about repositioning the IronMan head closer to the center of table (if you do a LEGO, you just don-t do it in the far corner of you table). So I believe this is what Tonatiuh wanted to say. (and yes put some more wood dust and mess :RocknRoll:)
But you did say how to improve, right?
Well, start of by modeling the LEDs that go inside the head, and the wiring and maybe some small circuit boards and some fancy other electronic stuff.Put all the tech closer to you camera.
The result will be that the eye will focus more on the wires and not so much on the wood head.
Play with focal point (make empty and assign it to you camera as focal point and change the radius values inside depth of field parameter) and see what comes out of it. Maybe you will like it more.
Perhaps Stark did made a wood head prototype in his childhood to see how it would look like, but I doubt it.
Keep up the good work!
Interesting project! The diagonal groove line on the wall is quite distracting to the eyes, how about removing it? Wall texture seems lower resolution as compare to the other elements, try changing the texture size or UV size of the wall.
The wood texture could be improved, check out this thread:
and for textures in general This is my goto thread:
I would add more wood working tools - the sandpaper, and file are good, but you need a proper chisel and a few other tools…
