Workflow: Materials affecting other materials? Shader Exmpl attached:

Here’s a screenie:

The two meshes indicated have two different Materials applied to them. However, when editing “BubbleTopContents” , both “BubbleTopContents” and “BubbleLowerContents” are affected.

When editing “BubbleLowerContents”, both are also affected, but to a much smaller degree.

If both meshes have different Materials applied, why are the both affected?

Does this have something to do with the Slot #? Is it required to change the slot# when editing Materials? I would expect each Material to be stand-alone.
