Worm rigging, stretching geometry

I’m rigging a worm. In Maya, if I use a wire deformer, which if different than moving and deforming an object along a path, I can stretch the model as needed, with is what I want in this case. How can I do this in Blender? Also, I would like to create some kind of blob wave on the body that moves from the back to the front, as worms do when they move.


Hey, You could use a Spline IK - This screen shot should show everything, there are 3 elements, a curve, an armature for the curve, and another armature that controls the thing - that one (2 bones) are 'Hooked" to the curve.
