Would UV’s get distorted after posing my character?

I modelled a character in A pose. It’s been UV mapped. It has clean topology.

Now, I’m going to take this model into zbrush in order to pose it with the posing tools. The final product is like a sculpted posed character, not a rigged character.

I was wondering if this will cause the UV’s I already made to become distorted.

Or is what I’m doing safe to do?

You should be fine. Probably worth making a backup copy before you do any posing just in case
