why would i download the matrix: revolutions? i’m still trying to download the matrix: reloaded (the first half looks sweet though). besides, i’d like to see at least one of the matrix movies in the theatre

Hm i wouldn’t go that far, but yes there are some people that make morally bad decisions.

generally i DON’T have a single pirated song on my computer, no illegal computer games.
however my brother keeps bringing over cds with movies on them which are way to tempting. (yes i do agree its stealling and yes its evil LOL)
and software, i will use 100% free software for all my company and personal use, however i go to univeristy which has computer labs with photoshop on it etc… so if i have a university assignment i don’t see the issue in using an illegal copy at home (becasue i have access to it if i wished, but would prefer not to spend hours and heaps of money travelling when my computer is better anyway LOL)
so yeah generally i’m VERY strict on my piracy morals, but i am guilty of watching movies that someone else has downloaded.
i have never used kazza, napster or anything. just my cd drive LOL

I’d just like to point out… the issue here is not piracy in general, but piracy BEFORE THE MOVIE IS RELEASED. Some of you are replying with comments about piracy in general but that’s a whole different argument.

I wouldn’t. It looks like it’ll be a good movie so I’d like to see it for real. I’m like that with most things, if they seem like they’ll be good I won’t pirate them. I don’t realy consider piracy stealing in the same way as other types of stealing though, because if I didn’t pirate the games/CDs I wouldn’t get them anyway.

Overall I’m pleased with the results of this poll thus far. My faith in humanity has returned to me.
I don’t know if it’s changed since the last time I’ve been here, but usually they don’t tolerate any threads that have much of anything to do with piracy. Especially where advocacy of it is involved.
I only saw the first one, and I only saw it when it showed up on TV last year. I’ll wait until this one shows up on TV as well. I wouldn’t even bother even if I had broadband. If I want cool visuals, I’ll browse the elysiun forum for cool animation and graphics, at least you guys are original and genuine.
