I pitched this exact idea to Caligari years ago, I called it “rubber band”…retarded name, but…same exact concept…obviously they did not develop it.

My friend, at the studio where i work wrote a script that did exactly the same thing.

I’m guessing blender’s retopo tool can do exactly the same thing?

i guess so, the only really cool thing i saw is the “painting quads” method
