X-Pose Picker Animation tool for Blender 4.X

hello and thank you for the question. Please in case of issues leave a message to support box on blendermarket/gumroad. First of all make sure the picker is updated to latest version. Often add-on updates contain compatibility changes if there are any blender python api modifications.

Best Regards!

Hello!
From now on Blender 2.8 and 2.9 will be dropped from support. That means X-Pose Picker will be tested only for Blender 3.X versions and up. All newly released add-on versions may still fully or partially work though however no warranty will be provided on legacy software.

Hello Albert,
I’ve been using X-Pose Picker for some time and I really like the addon.
However, there is a little thing that bothers me, and I wonder if it is possible to improve it:
When you choose bones in the picker, then go back to Blender and quickly use the shortcut for the “Pose Breakdowner”, it doesn’t work.
I use the “SuperFocus” option, and I noticed that there is a little lag before activating the Blender window. If we use the shortcut during this lag, it does not work.
Is there any way to reduce this lag?

Best regards,
Paul

hmmm, really hard to say, this may be related to individual machine or be dependent to scene heavy. I haven’t really seen any lag on superfocus switch, always was at light-speed so that issue would require some investigation.

by the way, the update for Blender 4.0 is on the way. This makes an occasion to smuggle some improvements into the picker along with the update. The add-on will get the support and the maintenance for the product life-time.

Best Regards!
Albert

Thanks!
I am using X-pose Picker with Blender 4.02.
It is working fine.
This is a very nice software! Thank you so much!

I have one question.
There is a strange behavior when I select the armature of two or more models and enter the pose mode.

Let’s say two models are A and B respectively.

If I move A by selecting its bones using Xpicker and then try to move B by selecting its bones via Xpicker, a transform gizmo appears starting from the bone of A that was moved just before.

I want to use the transform gizmo starting from the respective bone in B.

Currently I am solving this behavior in the following way

  1. After moving the model of A, I use the “Show Bones” button in the X-pose Picker to show the bones.
2.Select the bones of B directly in the 3D view, not via the Picker.
  2. Move the bone of B via the Picker.

In this way, it is possible to transform each bone of B as a starting point.

I would prefer to move the bones of B directly via Picker after moving A, instead of following steps 1 and 2.
Is there any way to solve this behavior at this time?
Also, is this a specification that cannot be solved?

I apologize for the inconvenience, but I would appreciate an answer.
