I just wanted to post to say thanks for this thread 
I have a model for my wife’s taxidermy art business made in full detail with a skull and bones throughout the logo. We’ve got an X-rayed animal print we’re making and this method (specifically see360’s in post #3) was -perfect- and quick for rendering the logo as an X-ray.
