I’m trying to add this xml importer as an addon to blender:
It’s a python script called ogre_import.py. I’ve downloaded it and tried several times to add it using Install from File on the Addons tab from User Preferences. I’ve quit and restarted blender and it still doesn’t show up. I’ve even installed Python 2.7 in case that was the issue.
Does anyone have any thoughts on what I’m doing wrong?
Are there any other .xml importers out there? I’m more than willing to try, another.

Wanted to update this. I’ve tried manually adding other addons and they’re not showing up, either. I reinstalled blender, but that didn’t help. Anyone know what’s going on?
I discovered that for some reason when I installed the latest version of blender it wiped all my file locations. No idea why this happened. Now, I’m looking for a way to set them back to their defaults.
