XRay Glass Material

Hi everyone. I’m new to the site but fairly comfortable around blender. I’m trying to model a house and I’ve got a problem with a transparent material, supposed to work like glass. It’s hard to explain, so I’ll link a render:

Notice there’s a plane in the opening in the second floor, with the material I’m talking about. Now notice a little bit to the right, how it’s possible to see the outside wall through the glass, despite existing another wall between those.

What is most likely the cause of the problem?

You are not seeing the wall through the wall & glass.
What u are seeing is the reflection of the outside wall (the boundary wall if i am not wrong) from the mirror.:slight_smile:
that’s because the mirror u used reflects some light as well.
Try turning off ray mirror and that should do.
If it does’nt , don’t blame me - i’m a noob.

Interesting… Check the reflectivity on that glass material… Looks like a reflection to me…

Yeah, looks like a reflection. Try placing a brightly colored object next to the wall around the lower-right area … you should see it reflected in the glass.
