Hello all! I am new to blender and coming from Luxology Modo world. Long time user of Modo with some experience in C4D. I am really trying to switch to Blender but stuck on this Axix thing with Y sitting on the Z plane. Does anyone know how to change this? I think this could be a deal-breaker for me if I can not get his to work…well, not really but it will drastically slow down my workflow.
that is the world axis
and for time being cannot be change!
may be later on in 2.3 I hope !
for objects there are some script that can help to rotate local axis

just one thing some modifiers like armature
must have the Y as Z axis
this is internal thing I guess
