xyz-Scattered text output


I have this !!damn!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! problem with real time text output in BGE: I used Clarks excellent tutorial found at his resources site and everything worked fine so far: in a fresh blend file the letters show up all lined up and nicely.

Now if I do the exact same thing in an already heavily tweaked blend file all letters get somehow scattered and with too much spacing inbetween. See the screenshot below…

I already figured out that the center of the initial plane has an influence on rendering the text as well as the scaling done in edit mode. But no matter what I do (resizing, applying scale+rot), the letters keep scrambled up.

Has anyone got an idea what’s going on?
