Yafaray Bathroom

Hi there

I’m preparing step by step a new tutorial for interior rendering and how to use render passes that Yafa can provide. Here a first proposal of the scene, stay tuned http://www.yafaray.org/phpBB3/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif

The picture is a bit noisy but the overall illumination looks good.

Looking promising already! The material on the ground looks good, the lighting seems to work.
Add details and colours and you have a solid interior render!

Thanks guys
It still previous renderings so still lot of noise ( for fast preview of material and lighting). Here some updates of furnishing, view,…

Hi there
Just start holidays, so I update my Yafaray Bathroom rendering. I change lights, camera,… as you can see.
Photon Mapping method, around 30mn rendering.

The bathroom scene is looking great! Very realistic, nice contrast and lighting.
I love the colors and the plant really gives a nice balance for the image.

GREAT job!

Thanks ThisIsSnaik
Here just for fun, a bench added for testing lighting/mood from the window

Some updates, light from window with Area lamp, really better for noise matters

Hi there !
The final image I hope, 20mn SPPM rendering, some adjustments with Photoshop and several rendering passes delivered by Yafaray, C&C are welcome

Maybe it’s the image compression, but there is still some noise and aliasing in places

Thx organic !
That’s right, there’s still some noise, I was looking for the best speed/quality ratio. Resting noise from Photoshop compositing, here some corrections:

The scene looks great

I’m curious though, about the ‘artifacts’ on the horizontal edges of the wood (also possibly on the chrome). Is it aliasing, or is it related to the texture image?

How many AA Samples are set? Possibly you already know, there is a UI bug that prevents increasing AA Samples for SPPM. You can change to another integrator method to increase it, then change back to SPPM. The updated value will be used in the render - http://www.yafaray.org/node/774

nice image, beautiful light distribution with yafaray.

Hi
I forget a bit this rendering and lost it in my hard disks
Here some update mainly in lighting, Filmic was used with Yafa !
