Yafaray displays a blank screen

I have been working with Blender a bit for the last couple of weeks and now I wish to learn how to render using Yafaray 0.1.1. I have tried following tutorial on various sites but all produce the same result, a black or sometimes white screen. I don’t think it is a problem with yafaray or blender, more likely to be a setting I have missed or do not know how to use. Could someone send me a quick blend file which is setup for yafaray and the settings you have used for it?

That would be really good as I am stuck until I can figure out how to actually see what I am rendering.

Yafaray can render a blank screen if the camera is inside a mesh too. The export calculations are a bit off. So it can look like your camera is Ok in BLender, but still be inside a mesh as far as yafaray is concerned.

A black render is usually caused by not setting up any lighting in the Yafaray ui…
A white render is probably due to using the default AO and materials…
