Hi im wondering if Yafaray renderer will be availiable in a build of 2.5 because ive seen sone really nice renders donw wih it. And wjile i have you reading this, will double-sided textures be availiable in 2.7?? I really need them for a game im making and thay wont work wjth 2.5
Double sided textures are possible, you have to set them in your face properties I believe. Yafaray is an external renderer, so I think you have to download it and install it separately.
The developers have mentioned many times that the Yafaray will be availible for Blender 2.5x as soon as the API becomes stable. Until then there are builds for 64bit Win, but the integration isn’t complete, and from the last post regarding the build, it doesn’t work with the latest builds of Blender. The last working version was for Blender 2.54.
