Caleb72How did you do that hair?! But by modelling each hair separately and one by one, of course… how else? (I’m not kidding, hairs are actually nodelled by hand, but there are, say, 10-12 different hair threads, duplicated and rotoscalotraslodeformatedated to enhance visual diversity and minimize intersections.

Actually it was a few minutes per frame, less than 5 for sure or it would have spanned the whole night.

Actually the sky and the sea and the light too are not so definitive… changes in progress… but the boat will play its role as it is now + someone on board, of course
Thanx… but I was thinking on a dark varnished boat, Venetian ‘gondola’ like, that’s why it’s so smooth.
And that’s why it is reflective I’m sure you noted this. And well, final camera angle will show far less details, I’m pretty sure I will loose most of the rigging
