I understand that activating the cache for Yafray’s GI decreases rendering time by focusing sampling in certain areas. But can that in anyway increase the quality? Certain areas may need more sampling than others, of course. Does the cache allow for a greater amount of sampling in certain areas than the amount of sampling in those areas without the cache?
i guess not, but dont trust me.
