yafray illumination exercise

I made this exercise to recover my relationship to yafray (I didn’t use it for one year more or less) and to add it in my incoming portfolio.

Some notes:

-first, the concept was taken from a design magazine…I tried to imitate the scene light and geometries, and then I put some stuff from myself.
-Real DOF YafRay (10 samples x 15 passes)
-Rendertime: about 3 hours… (don’t know exactly the time…sorry)
-Fluids generated with Blender fluid simulator
-Some materials with glossy (conetrace) via XML hack… could developers implement this feature in the blender-ui? :o
-Curve adjusting in GIMP (postpro)

Hi-res render (with some artifacts…forgot to active refinement):

A little gift (only for study purposes):

Please, before make nothing, read my pseudo-license http://www.yafray.org/forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Thanks for your time

Verry realistic in most aspects

i like the render alot… but i think that the water drops are making big stuff on the water :|… it’s seams there’s a hurricane on the water :stuck_out_tongue:

but i like it :stuck_out_tongue:
