The title says it all. I’ve downloaded the latest versions of each, but I can’t understand the readme in Yafray in order to get it working. Just curious, I’m sure they both have their strong and weak points, but a general opinion about each would help alot. Is it worth trying to figure out how to get Yafray working?
afaik is povray older and so far stronger, because it has more features.
many yafray pics looked to me, like out of plastic, instead of metal or what it was 
- but i dunno, if it is because of yafray, i havent tested it yet.
in the end i think, u can do good things with both of em, i use pov, because i know it from school.
