well, the title just about sums it up.
open blender 2.45. set render engine to yafray. turn off XML. f12. crash.
am I missing something simple, or is this a bug?

I didn’t have yafray installed. but still, it should have told me, not crashed.
crashes for me still with 2.46 RC3. I have yafray 0.0.9 installed (XP Pro 32 bit) I think I remember reading somewhere it had something to do with API or yafray’s current state not fitting well with current Blender, hence only being able to call the external version of Yafray…or am I making that up?
edit: It works (at least with 2.46 RC1) with XML OFF on my powerbook with OS X 10.4.11. weird. Windows thing?
