Hi Blender artists!

I tried to create idle loop animation and this is the result. It’s all created using Blender 2.91 and rendered using Eevee. The character is Yang Guifei from Fate Grand Order.

Wow, looks great. I really like the shading on the hair. Very nice balance between a stylized 2d/3d vibe.

Also really curious about the scapula. Is that just sculpted in or does that actually follow the rig? Like, do the scapula pop out when she retracts her shoulders? If so, would be interesting to know how you set that up.

Thank you! I modeled them all manually. Maybe it looks a little bit weird because I didn’t use subdivision surface at all. I just experimenting with purely low poly models. About the scapula, it did follow the rig but I didn’t do that much, I just did standard weight paint on it and I use rigify for the rig.

The hair could have a a bit more vertexes/Subdivisions, as the polygons are very visibly low poly on the strands… But other than that - Great work.

Thank you! I’m not using subdivision surface at all because the playback is so slow with animation. I tried to add more polygons manually, but I guess it still not enough. I hope I can do better next time.
