Is that $200 New Zealand? I got mine for $60 per year. Its a pretty good deal but the customer service is like sending messages to the mars rover and expecting a witty response instead of the results of rock sample analysis.

but really it doesn’t matter coz it takes me the same time to earn $200 NZD as it does for a US person to earn $200 USD
even though our money is worth 1/2 of the USD we still get payed the same in dollars per hour. (on average)

I noticed the same thing about England. Its as if the unit “1” means the same thing and has the same value in every country with a stable currency. Despite the fact that £1 is worth $1.61 U.S. a CD there still costs £13, and its costs $13 here. If the brits did their shopping here they’d be 60% richer than Americans.

desoto, you realised that if the brits did their shopping in australia (our dollar is currently worth 30 something pence or whatever) they’d be heaps richer. And the NZ dollar is slightly weaker than the Australian…
it depends on what you buy.
if our wee to buy somthing like a cd player then NO!!!
if you were to buy somthing like a bottle of milk then YES.
also cars are often cheaper to buy in NZ then hsip over to another country (only for second hand cars that are sort after such as minis, rx7’s etc…)
that statement is 1/2 ture. often you would pay more for somthing in NZ.
