I noticed the same thing about England. Its as if the unit “1” means the same thing and has the same value in every country with a stable currency. Despite the fact that £1 is worth $1.61 U.S. a CD there still costs £13, and its costs $13 here. If the brits did their shopping here they’d be 60% richer than Americans.
