I just finished a quick sketch of my new fun 3d character and his world that I will be using for my online avatars and for rendering and animation test!
No more 3d rendered crate scenes for me. The character and the environments can be constructed quickly. His main mode of operation is to keep his little world running and all of its gears and screws in place. His style is industrial techno, hard house, urban with a little funk base on top. He has to fit into the Amsterdam scene you know. It should be fun to produce. I will first put out the avatar then I will follow up with an environment render or two. I’m very busy so this character won’t be ready for weeks. I just had to get out a non commercial 3d character project. Yay!
Do you want me to make the renders with Yafray or Blender alone or both renderers?
Now get this. Thanks to Ton and the other magnificent Blender coders I will be using a mix of the spankin’ new Radiosity render option and Blenders own native renderer and powerful lighting and shadow features.
I will send out some of the renders to Yafray due to its own special rendering attributes. And I will have fun as always. I have to look around for web hosting, not fun at all.
