Ok,
so, you were really thinking I was not going to join the knot frenzy?
Of course the model is hand made not code generated

The knot is cool, but the caustics are amazing, nice work. :o

[edit]Ah, there it is now. Great work. Almost seems to be too many caustics IMO though. Great render![/edit]
:o Stefano, that’s splendid.
OK, you’re confirming that knots are in fashion those days. (but you’re troubling the experiment both by your action and observations )… Anyway, my jaw dropped… I like the essential simplicity of the work. It’s the kind of stylish and sugestive picture you can imagine showing in glossy and expensive magazine. [… OK I CHOP THE DELIRIOUS COMMENT THAT FOLLOWED…: I was being carried away pretty far, but tis good]
Did I say I love the technique? You’re sending me (and others I see) right back (in my dreams and resolution for the year after next) to the study of caustics. Very well done, and inspiring. That the stuff that converted me to yafray recently.
Beautiful. Love the caustics, and the glass, and the modeling. Knots seems to have brought out everyone’s creativity.
Paradox
Thanx
hehe how’d you quess?
Well, the knot is my model, but the caustocs is Yafray…
still waiting
Well, yafray is great!
hehe… how’s the feeling of being the Stone fell in the Pond whose wave spanned the whole community?
Stefano
far better, but i’d still tweak it… take some stronger shadows on the object itself. you know? from the arms and stuff. Not so much GI.
