Yellow living room

Hello everyone!
This is one of my scene made for client.
Your sugestions and comments are welcomed, thanks.

Nice renders. What color management settings are you using?

I would suggest removing the furniture that is not fully visible. If you cannot see it well, it has no reason to be in the shot. A photographer would push them away as well. If you have a plant just barely showing in the corner of one render and it is not visible in other ones(and it is likely you will not need it to be visible from other angles later) you could edit in a photograph instead of a rendered plant - it can add extra realism. I mostly Photoshop all the plants in and usually get good results.

Thanks a lot! In this one i used deafult but i made it few months ago. Now Im using filmic.

These are very useful advices, i will take them into consideration in the next work. I dont have experience in photography, thats why i decide to post some of renders here.

Well, your photography skills seem to be fine to me. The composition is not bad there. Like it always is, it could be improved but it is most definitely professional, and nicely fulfills it’s purpose - to show the interior.

I wasn’t sure, I thought I recognized that strange hard to describe saturated highlights look default used to give. Filmic indeed seems to be a lot better, doesn’t it?..

Are you modelling your furniture yourself? Cloth on the curtains, pillows and furniture could be improved a bit as well.

So, are you a designer yourself, or do you work in a design studio? These renders really remind me off my work. I do visualizations for a small interior design studio with just two designers and me in it.

I am glad my advise is useful, I am interested to see more of your work and I will most definitely try to give useful feedback in the future. That’s a really good idea to share the work for feedback. I think I need to do that as well. I am working on a brand new project now, I think I will follow your example and share this one as well first thing when there is anything to see.

Filmic works much better, and its easier to create natural look.

Some of the models are mine, some are modified free models, i dont have much time to improve them.

I work in quite big studio, but i do flat drawings. I make visualizations in free hours for other architects.

I like the renders
